By listening to this episode, you will find these methods helpful for your local as well as online collaborations. You’ll learn how to not only nail your elevator pitch, but also how to connect authentically and follow-up consistently when collaborating with businesses.
Connect and Cross Market in Collaborating
Local businesses are a great way to connect and see what services you can offer them, but also to consider how you can cross market. What services can local business offer your clients and what services can you offer their clients.
It also is important that you collaborate with business who compliment what you do. For instance, consider what kind of perks would it allow your clients to offer this business to them.

Connection is Key
Don’t be afraid to connect. A lot of business owners are afraid they will either be too busy or they may not even be confident enough in the product or service and they shy away from connections. Don’t be one of those business owners. Connection is key!
Common Mistakes Wellness Entrepreneurs Make
Just like success can come with collaborating, there are ways you can fail as well. Here are some key mistakes:
- Not investing in the market.
- Automating, you’ll want to take an in-person workshop and put it into a webinar for example (online).
- Pay attention to the changes in the market place. It is so important to keep up with the market place as things change!
Consider Your Clients
Everyone you talk to may:
- Need your services.
- Know someone who needs your services.
So you’ll want to always consider that it’s always beneficial for everyone to know what you do. Always tell people how you can help them. How can you help other business and help their clients? Share that with those business. Both, locally and online!
Leave the Script when Collaborating
Be authentic with your audience. When you do Facebook lives you want to be organized. On the other hand, you also want to be authentic and genuine in your connections and while doing your lives.
Consider Your Competition when Collaborating
A lot of the time, your biggest competition may be unhealthy food companies. In fact, your customers may be spending their money on those things and that is money they can spend on your services.
Likewise, do not health shame or shame people trying to be healthy. Everyone is different and on a different journey. Shaming someone is not the way to succeed.
Client Compliance
Always be consistent in your client’s feeds on social media. Likewise, you’ll be consistent in their thoughts and minds. As a matter of fact, encourage accountability and check-ins from your clients and audience.
Mindset Themes Work
Another great technique is to give a new mindset theme to your clients every week. For instance, weight loss starts with your thoughts. What kind of mindset would you want them to focus on from week to week. As a matter of fact, plan it out and use that with your clients.
