- Blue light & artificial lighting late at night has been classified as a Type 2 Carcinogen.
- Cover your eyes with blue light blocking glasses and your skin with clothing if you’re exposed to artifical light at night. Light is absorbed through our skin & tells our body it’s daytime, sending mixed signals.
- Too much exposure to LEDs is good for our mitochondrial health. You can replace your lights at home with Clear Edison Incandescent Bulbs (non frosted) or Halogen Bulbs. You can also use 660 NM Red Light.
- Even 15 seconds of blue light at night disrupts your circadian rhythm.
- One of the best things you can do for your health, happiness, and hormones: Get outside into the morning sunlight, especially one hour before sunrise if you can.
