Prioritization is key if you’re feeling STRAPPED for time…
As a Time Management Coach & Business Coach for health and life coaches… I work with business owners who feel like there’s never enough time! 🙆♀️
If you’re struggling to juggle parenting, growing your business, working a 9-5, and/or wanting to make more time for things outside of work…
I know the feeling all too well…
When I started out as a coach, I was juggling multiple side hustles, singing in a wedding band every weekend, and felt completely overwhelmed… 😔
It felt like I was stuck in an endless sea of quicksand… the more projects I would start… the deeper I sank…
I wanted to transition into coaching full-time, but it seemed like I never had enough time to create that result.
I knew being a victim wouldn’t help me… so I made a shift in how I managed myself, my thoughts, and my time…
You see, if you want to escape the quicksand of burn-out in business…
And start moving the needle… get high-paying clients…and build the flexible coaching business you’ve always dreamt of…
You have to shift your headspace first.
Here’s some prioritization & mindset tips that helped me make that shift:
1) Clearly Define The “Big Result” You’re Training For
Choose what part of your business you’re focused on the most right now for the next 30-90 days. For some of you, it will be growing your audience. For others, it will be creating your course or program.
Whatever it is, make sure that you clearly define your TOP PRIORITY & the top 1-2 strategies you’ll be executing each week to get there.
For example, if your “big result” is to get your first 30 email subscribers, you might decide the 2 strategies you’re going to work on each week to get there are 2-Step Posts & LIVE interviews where you’ll promote your email lead magnet.
Treat your “big result” like something you’re TRAINING for (like your personal SUPERBOWL). Get excited about it, pay attention to what’s working and what’s not, be open to experimenting… But stay focused on the task at hand.

2) Create a “Someday” List
As entrepreneurs & personal development junkies, it’s easy for people like us to get VERY EXCITED about so many different ideas & want to do them all at the same time.
This can be dangerous if we want to be efficient instead of “busy with little results.”
So, whenever you get a great idea about something you want to implement in your business, but it doesn’t align with your “Big Result” you’re training & working towards right now, put it on a “Someday” List.
This allows you to still entertain new ideas, but not get distracted in the now.
3) Stop Putting So Much Pressure On Yourself Or Your Goals
Goals are a great way to direct our brains. As they say, “where your focus goes, energy flows.” But too often we end up using our goals AGAINST OURSELVES.
Does this cycle sound familiar:
- You get excited about a new goal.
- You try some things that you think will get you closer to the goal.
- You realize it’s not happening as fast as you’d like & it feels like hard work.
- You start to get into the “Why Bother Mindset” & beat yourself up for not moving fast enough… Looking for a NEW EXCITING SHINY OBJECT to provide some relief from these icky feelings.
- Instead of staying focused & getting curious about how to refine your processes that are “taking too long,” you end up dabbling in a lot of different activities & feeling constant PRESSURE to “get to the goal.”
Reminder: The feeling of PRESSURE does NOT create the intentional, consistent actions that get us to our goals.
You know what feelings DO get us to our goals? Patience, curiosity, commitment to figuring it out one step at a time…
Now, if you’re serious about being more intentional with your time & hitting your business goals, I want to invite you to apply for my Free Private Training sharing how to get paying clients consistently without posting more or a big audience.
You see, there are coaches that spend YEARS trying to navigate the vast world of business on their own…
And it’s a shame… because if they had more guidance & a like-minded community… they could have achieved the same results in a couple months…
