How to Scale Your Business with a Strategy

Hello, everybody,
We’re going to talk about your goal to be booking clients. And where a lot of people get tripped up, a lot of coaches get tripped up. When they say I want to get more clients, I don’t know what to do. I don’t know what to do about. I feel like I’m trying everything, I’m doing everything, but it’s not working. And to me, the answer is not to be worried about a new, you know, shift to a brand new strategy, or you got to get the algorithm working for you better, you got to do X, Y, and Z. I think it has to start with a different question.
So we’re going to talk about what that is and how to really use this formula I’m going to share with you today to do any get any result that you want to have. So when it comes to your business, we talk about how and you’ve probably heard this before, if you listen to any form of personal development, but really our thoughts drive our actions, our actions, driver results.
And everybody has a different way of saying this, like the Life Coach School always talks about circumstances, thoughts, you know, circumstances, you make thoughts about your circumstances, your thoughts drive, your feelings, your feelings, drive, your actions are extraordinary results. Tim Ferriss says, What do you want to be do? And what do you got to do? And how are you? What do you want to have in your life? like everybody’s saying the same thing, what they’re saying in a different way? And so this applies to any result you want to have, we have to rather than say, Well, what action.
How to Characterize Your Business
Do you need to change right? Now, we need to start from the beginning and ask yourself, what kind of identity do you need to have. What kind of characteristics Who do you need to be to be able to do consistently the right thing or strategy or thing that’s going to move you forward to have what you want to have. So when it comes to end goal being clients, I want you to stop getting so tripped up at looking at your own little bubble that you’re in, of like, I got to start, you know, talking to more people right away, and I got to start, I want you to actually step back. And I want you to step into you being at your end goal, whatever that is for you.
Number, X number of clients per month, X number of revenue per month, think about that, feel how that would feel in your body. Think about what thoughts you have about yourself, think about what qualities you would have, think about what skills you would have? Think about what kind of then from from that space of Okay, who do I need to be in writing that down? And not judging yourself for thinking it’s wrong? Or is this the right answer or whatever, just brainstorm. That’s where we need to start from.
Thoughts on Why You’re Not Reaching Your Goal
So the first step is to ask yourself, why do I, why do I think right now, I am not already at XYZ goal, and write down all your ideas. And we have to look at that and know that all of those things are limiting beliefs, or thoughts that you have about the situation that are holding you back, then we need to travel forward in time. Think about yourself being at the goal you want to be at feeling what that feels like having the thoughts that that self version of you would have. And then you need to say okay, so well, who would I be in that situation? How would I be responding to challenges? What kind of characteristics like going back to that stuff i said earlier? Okay. What Are You Focused On?
Um, so that’s part one, then we have to ask, okay, what also would I be spending my time on? What would I be focused on? And also, what would I not be doing? So a lot of times, I see coaches like getting into comparison with other coaches, spending their time on dumb stuff, like posting and like, obsessing over their logo or like a post that’s not, it’s like a quote, post, that’s not gonna make a huge difference in their business. And they’re putting all their time and effort that they had to expand on their business on that one, like, quote, post.
So, okay, that’s probably what I wouldn’t be doing, here’s what I probably wouldn’t be doing. And then you’d have the clients that you want to have. And you have to be willing to take all those activities that you brainstormed, because to be honest, let’s remember, let’s go back to reality where you are right now, you haven’t done all those things yet. So we don’t actually know for sure if that’s going to be the thing that gets you to the end goal that you want to get to.
Optimizing Your Ideas
But in order to know that you have to go do it, you have to go test it, You have to go do it and then optimize it. And then you become the kind of person who can have that end goal of clients. Because you’ve been doing the things that get you there the things that cause you to learn, and the things that move you forward, right?
So this whole process of who do you want to be. What do you think you have to do to be that kind of person. To get what you want to have is a process you can journal out every day, or every week, or do it once a quarter doesn’t matter how how much you choose to do this, you can do it with very specific problems or issues or goals. And you can do it on also just like a personal values tight flash, like, bigger level. But that process is where we need to. You need to take a second, or I recommend taking a second to step back and re reflect rather than rushing to the next strategy rushing to the next tactic, thinking that changing your niche because your current niche isn’t working is the answer.
Changing Your Identity or Limiting Beliefs
And that’s the problem. Usually when you make a decision, and you follow through with it no matter what can probably work. So that’s why there’s so many strategies that work for different people. But what most people end up doing is they just think that the problem is this external thing that they just decided isn’t working for them. And really, they need to change their identity or a limiting belief or, you know, something much deeper than that. So hopefully this helped. If you have any questions, let me know.
